“Twigs, branches and last years leaves are part of the natural woodland garden. Seemingly haphazard planting seems natural too , but was a scheme planted by Adrian Bloom in the Area in Foggy Bottom named after his late wife , and called Rosemary’s Wood. Galanthus S.Arnott, Luzula sylvatica Aurea and Arum italics pictum ( now apparently called Arum italicum ssp. italicum )make a pleasing winter combination, suitable for almost any garden.” 2. It is of course winter , no leaves on the tress, but the walk through Rosemary’s Wood still has much to offer with snowdrops lining the path and a yellow flowered Mahonia in the distance. Look closer and you can see how our favourite snowdrop Galanthus S. Arnott can be used,”3. “ In the woodland walk in Foggy Bottom The Bressingham favourite snowdrop , Galanthus S.Arnott flowers amidst an evergreen Luzula sylvatica called “Aurea” . This useful plant was found in the Tatra mountains in central Europe and maintains its colour in winter.” #winterplants #wintercolour #winterinspo #winterdays #plantfacts #insta #instaplants #gardenvisit #adrianbloom #garden #gardendesign #evergreen #norfolk #norfolkgarden #suffolkgarden ...
