This week we had a drone flying over the gardens to capture footage for Channel 5's The Great British Garden series, going out in the autumn or next spring. We thought you might like to be reminded of what the gardens look like from a bird’s eye view, so here is some previously filmed material with some lovely music (which as far as we know, birds don’t usually listen to!).

And now that we are open on a limited basis, if you can plan a visit soon, you won't be disappointed. Book online at https://bressingham.merlintickets.co.uk/product/ADOUTSIDEONLY

We have been so pleased to welcome visitors back to The Bressingham Gardens this week! Adrian is standing in front of one of the giant perennials, one of over 5000 varieties to be seen in the 17-acre gardens. This plant is Persicaria polymorpha, originally from the Himalayas and flowers for weeks in summer.

Albert wasn’t able to see the steam engines as the Museum is presently closed, but Alastair suggested that they could still see the 3 1-hour programmes recently aired on Channel 5 television.

Adrian greeted the first few visitors and says “it is great to enable visitors who have spent so many weeks in lockdown to now visit our gardens. With garden staff away so far for 6 weeks this spring, it is amazing what their efforts have done to maintain the gardens to such a high standard.”
