Welcome to Bressingham Hall

Bressingham Hall has been the Home of the extended Bloom family since  1946 and has been at the heart of the making of our family nursery and gardens.

Enjoy a memorable stay with friends and family in our beloved house, ideal for large gatherings, offering plenty of room and privacy as well as wonderful socialising and togetherness opportunities for adults and kids alike with large private garden, and many spacious living areas.

Bressingham Hall has been featured in Country Life magazine (March 2019); read all about their stay here.

We are now able to offer a newly refurbished ground floor twin bed room and en suite facilities. The Phlox Room is so named because it was one of the favourite plants of founder Alan Bloom, and previously served as his study. The level access bathroom with w.c. and walk-in shower may be used separately from the Phlox Room, as both rooms are approached through the Old Gun Room, which now hosts a six foot snooker table.

The Hall retains its Georgian period features whilst also creating a warm and welcoming environment for house guests.

A large reception hall leads to an elegantly decorated drawing room and dining room, and the grand staircase takes you up to the eight spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms for up to 21 guests.

5 of the ensuite bedrooms have brand new king size beds, with additional singles available, and 3 further bedrooms have twin or single beds, and there are 2 cots available for tots. View First floor plan and Ground floor plan

The bathrooms all provide large walk-in showers and 2 bathrooms also feature gorgeous classic roll-top baths.

The furnishings complement and reflect a bygone era. Pretty decorative fireplaces grace each room – a wonderful feature saved from years ago. The tall ceilings are adorned by chandeliers, and period furniture, dado rail mouldings and wooden floorboards have been sympathetically preserved.

Both the formal drawing and dining room are perfect to play host to the smartest drinks reception or supper whilst a comfy ‘snug’ equipped with squishy informal sofas, bean bags and chairs will be the bolt hole for nights in front of the TV or children looking for a den to play and hide from their parents.

Bressingham Hall is self-catering but for a truly relaxing stay, catering is available. View example Menus

Alternatively there are 3 pubs offering meals within a couple of miles of Bressingham Hall.

All rooms provide central heating from our eco-friendly bio-mass boiler. Bed linen and towels are provided. The kitchen and utility room are well provided for. Wi-Fi is also free throughout the house though may not be as fast as in urban areas.

As an added feature, guests have their very own private garden with conservatory and terrace, and lawn with lawn games. And with prior arrangement you can hire a hot tub, take a garden tour, host a barbeque, or enjoy a variety of wellness treatments.
