What a beautiful and spectacular plant this can be. With a long period of interest and many uses in the garden,it is excellent in a container on a terrace or patio. From bright yellow mid spring shoots to summer and autumn mounds of gold and green with gracefully overlapping foliage, this grass still remains attractive into winter. Grow in sun or part shade where not too dry. Try it with Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’, Brunnera macrophylla ‘Jack Frost’, Bergenia ‘Bressingham Ruby’, Geranium ‘Rozanne’ and blue- leaved hostas such as H. ‘Halcyon’.
