Join us at The Bressingham Gardens this Winter for a truly unique workshop on 26th November 2022 3 to 5.30 pm.
We love Christmas and it’s time to make an extra effort to decorate your home ready to welcome friends and family to celebrate this special season.
We are delighted to welcome Erica Vaccari, who will bring her wonderful style of natural and romantic floristry from Italy using materials foraged at the Bressingham Gardens.
As the season moves from autumn to winter, nature brings new treasures to behold that are rich in textures and make the most wonderful spectacles. So, to make the most of nature’s bounty, we will fill our beautiful barn with an abundance of freshly cut seasonal foliage, berries and cones. You will also find seed heads, grasses along with beautiful flowers we have been drying in the Summer. You will be able to be creative and with expert guidance, you can make a unique design to take home or to give as gifts.
We will not use florist’s foam or cellophane wrapping – we are keen to provide a wonderful “green” Christmas with a beautiful natural feel.
You can expect a relaxed atmosphere, all set in our beautifully converted barn.
Our Winter Wreath workshop is perfect for those who are looking to move on this Christmas or anyone who wants to try something a little different this year. A beautiful blend of natural and unusual materials, dried flowers and foliage including delicate fronds, pods, dried umbels will be selected and woven to create a dynamic and non-traditional “eternal garland”. Beautifully elegant, this long-lasting wreath design will decorate your home for the holiday season and beyond.
Our workshop will begin with a demonstration on the techniques needed to create an eco-friendly winter wreath and, with a lot of inspiration and guidance, you will make your own one-of-a-kind piece to take home.
It includes all the flowers, materials, equipment, expert lessons, and all the designs made can be taken home. Suitable for all levels including absolute beginners. Included also entry to the award winning 17 acres All season Gardens.
