Awarding Winning Photography

All the images on our website in relation to plants were taken by Adrian and his son Richard Bloom. Both received prestigious awards in the last 12 months, Adrian the Lifetime Achievement Award in November 2015 , given annually to one horticulturist by The Garden Media Guild, and Richard the accolade as winner of the 2016 International Garden Photographer of the Year. Richard’s stunning landscape of Lupins, in the open country of New Zealand’s South Island is a picture to make you stop and stare, but for those in the know there’s more to it than meets the eye…

Richard Bloom

Now based in Suffolk he travels widely photographing a variety of subjects for many different clients.

Adrian Bloom

I have been taking plant and garden photographs for over 50 years, hopefully improving overtime and with expensive and better cameras! There’s no doubt the value in recording time, place and nature, and using a camera as your eyes, whether shoot- ing a landscape, plant combination or close up, gives you more insight and depth to an appreciation of gardens and plants.
